Update to WordPress 3.5 Today!

I’m excited to join in the fun of the release of WordPress 3.5 in just a few short hours.

Some new features include:

  • New default theme, Twenty Twelve
  • Retina-friendly (HiDPI) WordPress Admin [I love this on my MBP Retina]
  • No more links (you can enable them if you want, though)
  • Media/Upload features have been completely revamped!

The new media features and HiDPI admin are probably my favorite. What are yours?

I’ll be burning the midnight oil and making an announcement tomorrow about how I think you should be updating your sites if you’re not a technical user or are bad about theme/plugin updates and setting up scheduled/automated WordPress backups.
