WordPress Updates, Backups,Security & Service by WP Maintainer

I’m pleased to announce that WordPress 3.5 isn’t the only new thing popping out December 5, 2012. Allow me to introduce you to WP Maintainer.

What is WP Maintainer?

Maintainer is a product I’ve been offering yearly for a over a year now, and I continue to see a growing need for managed management of WordPress core/theme/plugin updates, site backups, security services and hourly WordPress services.

Maintainer includes:

  • All core, theme and plugin updates
  • Regularly scheduled backups
  • Upgrade compatibility support
  • Managed Sucuri Malware Monitoring & Cleanup
  • One (1) hour of developer support time per month
  • Free migration to quality WordPress hosting partners
  • Free theme/plugin security audits

You should really check out our features list to learn more, or email support if you have any questions.

Who is WP Maintainer For?

It’s not for everyone. Hard-core developers, designers and folks who are WordPress super-users probably can manage their updates and backups themselves. Maintainer is really for your clients and any not-so-technical site administrators out there.

It’s also a great service for small-to-medium size companies that do not have a full-time or retained developer and are budget conscious. These types of clients love the service because it’s got an hour included of developer time every month. This can be used for things like:

  • Plugin implementation and customization
  • Modification/customizations to existing template files
  • Add-on theme functionality
  • UI troubleshooting (HTML/CSS/Javascript)
  • Theme/plugin security & feasibility audits
  • Creation of basic graphics and/or content population support
  • General WordPress consulting

Is There More to Come?

You bet there is. I am still offering professional custom website design, WordPress development and more via Sizeable Interactive, I will still be speaking at WordCamps and I will be leading/running WP Maintainer for the time being. Please check back for more information about how you can be apart of WP Maintainer as an affiliate.
